YS4008F is a low-cost gesture module designed based on the principle of photoelectric sensing. It operates in the near-infrared light band. The MCU controls the infrared light-emitting diode to emit pulse modulated light, which is reflected by the object and received, analyzed, and analog-to-digital converted by the photoelectric transistor to obtain the depth data of the obstructed object. Based on the judgment of the duration of object obstruction, the waving gesture action can be obtained.
YS4008F uses our company's mature adaptive patented algorithm, which can eliminate the interference of ambient light and is widely applicable to various transparent materials such as acrylic, glass, filters, etc. with different thicknesses. It is easy to apply and install, making it a highly mature low-cost gesture recognition module. By adjusting the emitted light intensity, software algorithms, and module structure, its recognition distance can reach up to 20cm. The standard module can recognize the waving function and can be widely used in application scenarios such as smart homes and consumer electronics.
